<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve accuracy in prediction of luminance deterioration as compared with the conventional manner by using an active matrix image display device employing organic EL (Electro Luminescence) elements. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding a constitution to correct image data gradation and to correct the luminance, the degradation amount of the luminance is predicted by an interpolation operation using the light reception results obtained by a plurality of light receiving elements based on luminance information obtained using a predetermined derivation function, accordingly, the luminance is predicted with the constitution simpler as compared with the conventional one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
