PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive method for manufacturing a reduced iron agglomerate for steel-making, in which the strength of a briquette can be improved even in the case of forming under a low compressive pressure, and which can safely be used in a steel-making furnace.
SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the reduced iron agglomerate for steel-making, after a carbonaceous material is mixed into at least one of powdery iron based dust and sludge containing a zinc component of 1.0-10 mass% as the average composition, the mixture is subjected to reduction roasting treatment so as to produce the reduced iron, and after classifying the reduced iron into coarse-grain reduced iron and powdery reduced iron, the briquette-formed raw material having the powdery reduced iron as the main raw material is agglomerated at cold with a briquette-forming machine to form the reduced iron briquette, wherein the water-content of the briquette-formed raw material, is 0.5 to <6 mass%.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
