<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine having improved game entertainment, making a player hard to sense the ending time of a special game condition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pinball game machine includes: a special pattern-starting section changed to be opened on condition that a normal pattern display section 25 has a winning pattern of normal symbols; special pattern display sections 18 and 19 for variably displaying special patterns based on the detection of a game ball by the special pattern-starting section; a jackpot condition-generating section for generating a jackpot condition on condition that patterns stopped after a variation of special patterns have a jackpot pattern; and a special game condition-generating section for generating a prolonged opening condition for a predetermined period after the jackpot condition, wherein the prolonged opening condition ends (S6), when satisfying one of a first ending condition (S5a) in which the normal pattern display section 25 has a number N1 of variations which reaches a specified normal number Na, and a second ending condition (S5b) in which the special pattern display sections 18 and 19 have a number N2 of variations which reach a specified special number Nb.
