PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation construction machine capable of effectively suppressing an eccentric moment acting on a leader during the construction of a foundation with an inexpensive improvement cost by simply changing the structure into a structure in which the relation between the leader and rack members is improved. SOLUTION: In this foundation construction machine 100, the pair of rack members 30, 30 are affixed to the side surfaces 21, 21 of the leader in the axial direction of the leader 2 vertically installed on a base machine 1. A lift 5 having a drive 4 including at least an auger is liftably supported on the rack members 30, 30. The lift 5 includes a pair of first and second rotary machines 10, 10 rotatably driven while the drive shafts thereof are engaged with the rack teeth 31, 31 engraved in the respective rack members 30, 30 directly or indirectly with a pinion gear interposed therebetween and one or more third rotary machines 20, 20 which constitute the drive 4.
