PURPOSE: Lithium transition metal phosphate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily adjust crystal defects of an atomic level without expensive equipment, and to adjust arrangement of the cation defects. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of lithium transition metal phosphate includes the following steps: producing a first intermediate by adding materials consisting of one element or a mixture having alkaline elements or 5+ atomic valence in salt including lithium and transition metal phosphorus oxide; producing an amorphous second intermediate by thermally heating the mixture at a temperature of 250 ~ 400°C; thermally treating the second intermediate material at a temperature of 400 ~ 800°C; clustering cation defect distribution; and producing final materials. |
