<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device suppressing the shifting of an airbag after the finish of inflation toward the vehicle outward direction when receiving a pedestrian and surely covering the front face of a front pillar. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device M1 includes the airbag 35 capable of covering the front face 1a side of the front pillar 1 of a vehicle V. The airbag 35 includes an inflation body 36 and a supporting inflation part 37. When the airbag 35 finishes inflation, the inflation body 36 covers the front face 1a of the front pillar 1. The supporting inflation part 37 continues to the inflation body 36 so as to extend from the inflation body 36 toward the vehicle outside O, and is disposed so as to be able to support the inflation body 36 and so that a lower face 37c side is abuttingly supported by the upper face 23c of a mirror body 23 of a door mirror 21 in a use position UP when the airbag 35 finishes inflation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
