<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation in performance, which results from relative displacement between optical members in the process of fixing. <P>SOLUTION: In a lens device having a lens barrel 102 and a lens 101, the lens barrel 102, which is formed from a resin material that absorbs a laser beam, is provided with a contact section 106, the circumference of which is sandwiched between edges 107. In addition, the lens 101, which is disposed adjacent to the lens barrel 102 in the direction of an optical axis, is formed from a resin material that transmits a laser beam and that is compatible with a material forming the lens barrel 102.
