<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell having an occluded flow passage, capable of suppressing flooding on the downstream side of a cathode gas flow passage. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell is furnished with a laminate equipped with at least a membrane-electrode assembly, and a pair of separators for pinching the laminate. At the separator opposite to an anode catalyst layer, an anode gas flow passage is equipped, and at the separator opposite to a cathode catalyst layer, a cathode inflow passage and a cathode outflow passage are equipped. When the pressure of a reaction gas which is circulated through the upstream side region of the cathode inflow passage is made P1, the pressure of a reaction gas which is circulated through the upstream side region of the cathode outflow passage is made P2, the pressure of a reaction gas which is circulated through the downstream side region of the cathode inflow passage is made P3, and the pressure of a reaction gas which is circulated through the downstream side region of the cathode outflow passage is made P4, so that P1-P2>P3-P4 is satisfied; and the cathode inflow passage and the cathode outflow passage are constituted thus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
