<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording ink having both good fixability and good discharge characteristics of ink when printed by an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording ink, containing water, a coloring material, and a nonionic surfactant, further contains 1,2,5-pentanetriol in an amount of 7.5-25.0 mass% of the total ink amount.
