<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium of high reflectance (initial reflectance), including a recording layer for the optical information recording medium having an excellent recording characteristic, and excellent in durability, and a sputtering target useful for forming the recording layer. <P>SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium includes the recording layer of performing recording with irradiation of a laser beam, and a dielectric layer formed adjacently to the recording layer. In the optical information recording medium, the recording layer contains indium oxide and palladium oxide, the palladium oxide contains palladium monoxide and palladium dioxide, and a ratio of Pd atom to total of In atom and the Pd atom contained in the recording layer is 6-60 atom%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
