INSULATING WIRE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating wire, capable of reducing snapping of a wire at the time of stripping-off of an insulated layer and adhesive force between a conductor and the insulated layer caused by poor removal of the insulated layer, and to provide a manufacturing method for the wire.

SOLUTION: In the insulating wire having the conductor and the insulated layer for covering the outer periphery of the conductor, a covered layer of stripping type stratified double-hydroxide is formed on the surface of the insulated layer. The manufacturing method for an insulating wire includes a process of forming the covered layer by applying the stripping type stratified double-hydroxide on the surface of the conductor; and a process of forming the insulated layer on the surface of the covered layer.
