<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully obtain respective effects, when performing image processing for improving the printing quality and noise addition for pseudo-contour prevention by multivalued pseudo-gradation processing. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing method for inputting the image data of an RGB form and generating the image data of a CMYK form includes: a step of converting the image data of the RGB form into the image data of a color expression form that includes luminance data; a step of performing smoothing processing to at least a part of area of the luminance data; a step of performing base removal processing to the luminance data; a step of converting the image data of the color expression form including the luminance data to the image data of the CMYK form; and a multivalued pseudo-gradation step of performing the multivalued pseudo-gradation processing, by using the image data of the CMYK form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
