PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling switching of a scale in a vehicular meter capable of preventing erroneous recognition and performing highly safety displaying. SOLUTION: When a vehicle information display of a scale A is transited to a vehicle information display of a scale B, emission of light for displaying of a scale associated with the vehicle information display of the scale A is temporarily stopped, and after that, emission of light for displaying of a scale associated with the vehicle information display of the scale B is started.
