PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent progression of a reaction treatment in a state where a reaction vessel plate, which is different from the reaction vessel plate to be installed to a device, is installed. SOLUTION: The reaction treatment device is provided with a first discrimination information reading part for reading the discrimination information of the reaction vessel plate before being installed to a plate installation part and the discrimination information of a sample stored in the reaction vessel plate. The plate discrimination information and the sample discrimination information read by the first discrimination information reading part are registered in a mutually bound state in a discrimination information registration part. A second discrimination information reading part for reading the discrimination information of the reaction vessel plate installed in the plate installation part is disposed in a body unit. Post installation plate discrimination information is compared with the plate discrimination information registered in the discrimination information registration part by a discrimination information comparing part. A progression control means is provided for stopping the progression of the treatment thereafter when the post installation plate discrimination information and the plate discrimination information registered in the discrimination information registration part do not match.
