<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the removal efficiency of magnetic grains in the fluid to be treated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The inner circumferential face 2g of a cyclone type treatment vessel 2 consists of: a cylindrical part 2f whose inside diameter is made almost certain over the whole in the upper and lower directions; an upper side reverse-conical part 2b connected to the lower side of the cylindrical part 2f and whose inside diameter is made smaller as it goes to the lower side; a lower side reverse-conical part 2d formed adjacently to the upper side conical-reverse part 2b at the lower side thereof; and a conical part 2c connecting both the reverse-conical parts 2b, 2d each other. A cylindrical exhaust tube 6 extending to the upper and lower directions is arranged at the central part of the cyclone type treatment vessel 2. The height position of the fluid exhaust port 7 provided at the lower edge part of the cylindrical exhaust tube 6 is the position almost same as the upper edge part of the lower side reverse-conical part 2d or is the vicinity thereof. The lower part of the cylindrical exhaust tube 6 is provided with a disk-shaped baffle plate 301 (flow control member) with a diameter which is almost equal to the inside diameter or outside diameter of the cylindrical exhaust tube 6.
