<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus (100) for orientation and retention of a patient during hadron therapy by means of a fixed source of irradiation, comprising a table (15) for retention of said patient, said table (15) being made of a material substantially transparent to said source of irradiation and being mounted movably on holding means (11, 16) that hold said retention table (15) and form an inclined plane, said holding means (11, 16) having a first support part (11) and a second support part (16), said first and second parts being separated by a space (17) which allows the beams issuing from said source of irradiation to pass through the rear face of said retention table (15) in order to treat said patient in a recumbent position when held by said holding means (11, 16).</p> |
