The motor vehicle has a unit for the determining of obstacles in the maximum path of movement of a component of the vehicle pivotable from out of the vehicle's silhouette from a closed position, especially a door (6) or hatchback. An opening angle (alpha ) is sensed in dependence upon the position of the obstacle in relation to the vehicle, during which no collision takes place, and a fixing unit (7) is provided to limit the opening movement of the vehicle's component when achieving the determined opening angle. |
