<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve precise and continuous scanning of a plurality of scanning areas and to achieve shortening of the delay of a processing time due to switching of the scanning areas. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A drive table creation part creates an interpolation drive table which regulates a scanning path P1 between a scanning area A1 and a scanning area A2 and a scanning path P2 between the scanning area A2 and a scanning area A3 and stores the interpolation drive table into a memory. A drive control part, on the basis of the interpolation drive table, controls the operation of a scanner drive system so as to move along the scanning path P1 and the scanning path P2 between the scanning areas.
