<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of suppressing, in an internal combustion engine provided with an EGR device, combustion fluctuation even when air in an intake passage flows back toward an exhaust passage side in an EGR passage in transition of acceleration from a driving state with an EGR valve opened. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The control device includes: the EGR passage connecting an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine to an intake passage thereof; the EGR valve provided in the EGR passage; a throttle vale provided in a position on the upstream side of a connecting position of the EGR passage in the intake passage; and a correction means which decreasingly corrects fuel injection quantity when changing the opening of the throttle valve from the driving state with the EGR valve opened to a larger opening than a predetermined opening difference.
