A tire (1) for a motorcycle has grooves (10) and blocks of land (100) projecting radially outwardly (TD) of the tire from the grooves. The blocks of land are provided with small corner plates (107) that increase the area of heat dissipation to allow heat accumulated in the grooves and the blocks of land to dissipate whereby lowering the temperature of the blocks of land during travelling. Thus reduction of the gripping force of the tire due to reduced rigidity of the lands (100) and changes in riding conditions such as tire grip or drivability can be effectively prevented. |
