Provided is a plug including: at least two electrodes; a housing which supports the electrodes; an electrode cover which covers the electrodes when not in contact with a plug receptacle and is contained in the housing to expose the electrodes when in contact with the plug receptacle; and a lock mechanism which prevents containing of the electrode cover in the housing when not in contact with the plug receptacle and enables containing of the electrode cover in the housing when in contact with the plug receptacle.
