An air conditioner with an additional water cooler includes an outdoor unit (1) and an indoor unit (2). A water cooler (5) is added in the pipeline between a compressor (3) and a condenser (4) in the outdoor unit (1). The pipeline goes through the water cooler (5). A water inlet (7) is arranged in the lower part of the water cooler (5), and a water outlet (8) is arranged in the upper part of the water cooler (5). A drain pipe (6) of the indoor unit (2) is connected with the water inlet (7) of the water cooler (5), and a discharge pipe is connected to the water outlet (8) of the water cooler (5).
