PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for indicating a system abnormal state are provided to enable a manager to intuitively judge the abnormal state of a system by extracting and visualizing the user information of the management target system and the network connection information of processors executed in the management target system. CONSTITUTION: A data collector(110) periodically collects from an information collection agent the information for judging the abnormal state of the system, wherein the information collection agent is installed at a management target system. A data extractor(120) extracts not only network connection information for each process executed in the system but also system use information from the collected information. A system state indictor(130) displays the extracted information on a screen.
