<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably detect watermark information even when time deviation arises between embedding and detection of a digital watermark. <P>SOLUTION: In embedding of the digital watermark, an embedding signal is generated from a certain specific watermark signal and watermark information, scene change is detected from an input image signal, and a digital watermark embedded image is generated by synthesizing the embedding signal with an input image while controlling polarity on the basis of detected scene change information. In the digital watermark detection, correlation between the input image signal and the certain specific watermark signal is calculated, the scene change is detected from the input image signal, correlation signals are accumulated while controlling polarity on the basis of the detected scene change information to detect information embedded from the peak which appears in the accumulated correlation signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
