<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shipping plug by which an external-thread part around a pipe fitting attached to a port of hydraulic equipment can be filled up securely. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a form of a cap, a plug body 10 is formed of an elastic material. The inside diameter D1 of the plug body 10 is smaller than the outside diameter D2 of the external thread part 3a so as to come into press-contact to the external thread part 3a of the pipe fitting 3; a seal protrusion 11 is formed on the inside periphery of the opening of the plug body 10 so as to be brought into press-contact with the neck 3b between the external thread part 3a of the pipe fitting 3 and a nut 3c.
