PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a drive wheel capable of preventing the wearing and rattling of a face spline by suppressing the loosening of a fastening bolt over a long period of time and attained in the enhancement of durability. SOLUTION: In the bearing device for the drive wheel, an inner ring 5 is fixed by a calking part 13 formed by plastically deforming an end of a small diameter step 1b to the outside of a radial direction, and the face spline 13a is formed on an end surface of the calking part 13. Both face splines 13a, 19a are pressure-contacted and with supported by the fastening bolt 21 thread-engaged with a female screw 20a of a shaft 20 while being abutted on an end surface at an outer side of a hub wheel 1, and the rolling bearing 2 of a double row and a uniform universal joint 3 are bonded separably in an axial direction so as to be torque-transmittable. The face spline 13a of the calking part 13 is formed by plastic processing simultaneously to the calking part 13, and a surface of the male screw 21a of the fastening bolt 21 is previously coated with a screw stop agent 22 comprising an anaerobic adhesive.
