The devices and methods concern material combinations of wood-based material and fibre-reinforced plastic. The component assembly (60) comprises a first component (62) and a second component (64), both of a wood-based material, wherein the components are connected to each other by at least one connecting plate (39) of a fibre-reinforced plastic, which is connected in one region to the first component by means of a connecting element (65) and is connected in another region to the second component by means of a further connecting element. The method for creating such a component assembly comprises the steps: a) at least one connecting plate of a fibre-reinforced plastic is made available; b) the connecting plate is adapted in its form to the component assembly to be created; and c) the at least one connecting plate is connected in one region to the first component and in another region to the second component by at least one connecting element in each case. The composite element has at least two plate elements of a wood-based material and at least one articulating element of a fibre-reinforced plastic, each of the plate elements being connected to at least one other of the plate elements by at least one articulating element in each case. In particular, prismatic shell structures can be formed in this way. The girder that is subjected to bending, with a compression chord running in the compression zone and a tension chord running in the tension zone, is characterized in that the compression chord is formed at least partly by wood-based material and the tension chord is formed at least partly by fibre-reinforced plastic. Preferably, the girder that is subjected to bending has a continuous compression part which consists substantially of wood-based material and the tension chord has a continuous tension part which consists substantially of fibre-reinforced plastic. |
