DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING AND DETACHING MEMBER

A device and a method for attaching and detaching a member capable of avoiding a reduction in the part mounting area of a part mounting member by an eject mechanism and of easily attaching and detaching the part mounting member to and from the casing of an apparatus.  The device comprises a fulcrum section functioning as a fulcrum for a lever force, a power point section functioning as a power point for the lever force, and an application point section functioning as a point of application for the lever force.  When a predetermined member is attached to and detached from the casing of a predetermined apparatus, the pivot section is secured to the predetermined portion of the casing and a force is applied to the power point section.  Then, the application point section applies a force to the member to move the member in a predetermined direction.
