PURPOSE: A metal material manufactured with a multi-color method of coating and a method thereof for metal are provided to improve the durability and adhesive force of the coating layer. CONSTITUTION: A multi-color coating method of a metal comprises: a step of washing the surface of the metal material by using an alkaline detergent(S1); a step of Heat-treating the cleaned metal in the environment of 90~120°C for 50~70 minutes(S2); a step of emitting the ion beam in a heat-treated metal surface(S3); a step of evaporating the etched metal and coats it in the surface of the metal material to the thickness of 0.4~0.6μm(S4); a step of evaporating the zirconium under the oxygen and coat it on the chrome evaporation adhesion layer surface to 0.1~0.2μm thickness(S5); a step of evaporating the silicon under the oxygen and coat it on the zirconia deposition layer surface to 0.2~0.3 μm thickness(S6); a step of evaporating the oxygen atmosphere and the titanium and coating with the silica deposition layer surface(S7); and a step of coating the water repellent in a titanium substrate(S9).
