<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device suppressing generation of abnormal sound according to vehicle body vibration, while facilitating a position adjusting work of a cover body and a retainer. <P>SOLUTION: A mounting wall part 24 for mounting the retainer 5 is integrally and projectingly provided on a back side of the cover body 2 mounted in an opening part formed in an instrument panel. Hooks 71 for mounting retainer 5 in the cover body 2 are provided at the outside of side walls 52 and 53 of the retainer 5, while a loosely fitting hole 25 for locking the hook 71 to be adjustable in position on the mounting wall part 24 of the cover body 2. By providing the retainer 5 with a pressure contact piece 10 which is in pressure contact with the mounting wall part 24 to increase sliding resistance between both of the retainer 5 and the mounting wall part 24, the position adjusting work of the cover body 2 in relation to the retainer 5 can be facilitated, and the generation of abnormal sound according to the vehicle body vibration can be suppressed by the sliding resistance by the pressure contact piece 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
