PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect positions of partition members with a transmission image to be generated based on an X-ray transmission amount and prevent a degradation of inspection performance. SOLUTION: An X-ray inspection apparatus 1 includes a belt conveyor 5 for transferring inspection objects W in a transfer direction Y; the partition members 11 installed close to a transfer surface 5a of the belt conveyor 5 to split the transfer surface 5a into a direction Z perpendicular to the transfer direction Y to form a plurality of inspection lanes 14; an X-ray generator 21 for delivering an X-ray to the inspection objects W being transferred in the inspection lanes 14; and an X-ray detector 22 for detecting the X-ray to be transmitted through the inspection objects W; so as to generate the transmission image based on the X-ray transmission amount and inspect a quality of the inspection objects W through this transmission image. The apparatus further includes a substantially board-shaped X-ray easy-transmission section 12 extending each partition member 11 in the transfer direction Y of a transfer means 5; and an X-ray difficult-transmission section 13 provided at the bottom close to the transfer surface 5a of the transfer means 5 of the X-ray easy-transmission section 12.
