PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse output device for improving responsiveness on position control, and for achieving high speed and fine control by setting a new value corresponding to the next target position just until the end of the output of a stepping pulse corresponding to the previous setting. SOLUTION: An output part 133-1 outputs stepping pulses necessary for reaching a target position to a stepping signal PS at pulse intervals designated by pulse interval designation data D2 on the basis of absolute position designation data D4 and pulse interval designation data D2 in response to an output instruction signal S1, and changes the logical value of a direction signal DS in association with a stepping direction necessary for reaching the target position.
