PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire with excellent uniformity not disordering a carcass ply after vulcanization even if fiber cords of different materials are used for the carcass ply. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 has a pair of bead parts 2, a pair of side wall parts 3 and a tread part 4 continued to both side wall parts 3 and is provided with a carcass 6 comprising two sheets or more of carcass plies 5a, 5b troidally extending between the pair of bead parts 2. In the pneumatic tire 1, the carcass 6 comprises two kinds or more of carcass plies 5a, 5b of different kinds of the fiber cord, and in the fiber cord constituting the carcass plies 5a, 5b, thermal contraction ratio at 170°C under 50 g load is 7.0% or lower.
