PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable trimming of a weld part while changing running width to drastically restrain lowering of production efficiency due to trim trouble when continuously treating a steel strip by using a continuous treatment apparatus of the steel strip having a welder and a trimmer. SOLUTION: The continuous treatment apparatus 20 of the steel strip includes the welder 23 for butt-welding a tail end of a precedent steel strip S1 and a front end of a following steel strip S2 to obtain a welded steel strip S, and the trimmer 24 for cutting a width end part of the running welded steel strip S. The apparatus includes a camber measuring means 21 provided in an upstream side of the welder 23 to respectively measure a camber amount of the tail end of the precedent steel strip S1 and the front end of the following steel strip S2, and a control means 25 controlling the trimmer 24 based on the camber amount measured by the camber measuring means 21. Further, the apparatus includes a cutter 22 arranged in the upstream side of the welder 23 to cut a portion including the tail end of the precedent steel strip S1 and/or a portion including the front end of the following steel strip S2.
