The connection has a contacting socket fixed at a contact carrier for receiving a contacting plug (1) for contacting an electrical contact. The contacting plug includes two clamping jaws (2, 3) tiltable relative to each other and transverse to an insertion direction. One of the clamping jaws is designed as contact holders (4, 5) for carrying a springy contact element (6). A lever mechanism reduces plugging-in and plugging out force applied by a user for plugging-in the contacting plug into the socket and for plugging out the contacting plug from the socket.
