PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve rigidity of a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: A lower substrate(20) includes the first area(60) and the second area(70). In the first area, a liquid crystal cell is arranged. In the second area, the liquid crystal cell is not arranged. A driver IC(30) is mounted on the second area. An upper plate(10) is attached to the lower substrate. Protrusion units(12,14) are partially overlapped with an area where the driver IC does not exist in the second area. The protrusion unit exists in right and left sides of the driver IC. |
