PURPOSE: A device for controlling the height of a manhole and a method for controlling the height of a manhole using the same are provided to prevent the support surface of a manhole cover from being cracked by dispersing a load applied to the support surface. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the height of a manhole comprises a support bracket(20), a fixing bolt(30), an adjustment bolt(40), and an adjustment bolt supporter(50). The support bracket has a lower support piece(22) and an upper support piece(24). The fixing bolt is screwed on the upper support piece. A concave groove is formed in the adjustment bolt. The bottom end of the adjustment bolt is inserted into the concave groove. The adjustment bolt supporter is arranged between the bottom of the adjustment bolt and the support surface of a manhole cover. |
