PURPOSE: An automatic pallet changer setup checking apparatus for a horizontal machining center is provided to prevent alarm generation when a dog is released by vibration and impact by using a proximity switch instead of a limit switch. CONSTITUTION: An automatic pallet changer setup checking apparatus for a horizontal machining center comprises a rotary plate(1), a top cap(5), a shaft(6), a dog(7), a cylinder(11), and a proximity switch(10). The rotary plate is installed on the upper side of an APC base(2). The pallet is placed on the rotary plate. The top cap is inserted into the lower surface of the APC base. The shaft linearly moves inside the top cap. The dog is coupled with the lower end of the shaft. The cylinder is coupled with one end of the shaft and raises a shaft.
