PURPOSE: A separable muffler apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent the increment of exhaust pressure due to the installation of an oxidation catalyst device by inserting the lower end of an outlet pipe into a second housing and inclining the lower end of the outlet pipe in the longitudinal direction of the muffler device. CONSTITUTION: A separable muffler apparatus for a vehicle comprises a first housing(21), a second housing(22), and an oxidation catalyst device(23). The first housing is connected to an inlet pipe(5). The first housing has an open part(21a). The second housing is connected to an outlet pipe(24). One end of the oxidation catalyst device is fixed with the open side part of the first housing through a fastening unit(25). The other end of the oxidation catalyst device is fixed with the open side part of the second housing through a second fixing unit(26). The oxidation catalyst device reduces harmful materials of the exhaust gas exhausted from the first housing to the second housing.
