<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield processing method for a shielded cable, capable of preventing welding in a misaligned condition and of reducing the replacing frequency of an ultrasonic welding horn. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning block 21 is formed by four walls of first-fourth positioning blocks 21a-21d. The first and second positioning blocks 21a, 21b each have an earth wire insertion groove 21e having a predetermined groove depth. The third and forth positioning blocks 21c, 21d each have a wire insertion groove 21f having a predetermined groove depth. The inner face of each of the first-fourth positioning blocks 21a-21d is formed as a positioning face 21h for positioning a resin chip.
