<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit knocking in a structure circulating cooling heat medium in a same passage through an internal combustion engine and an EGR cooler. <P>SOLUTION: This system includes a circulation passage in which the cooling heat medium circulated through the internal combustion engine and the EGR cooler. When the quantity of the cooling heat medium circulating in the circulation passage is not greater than a prescribed quantity or circulation of the cooling heat medium in the circulation passage is stopped (S102), the quantity of EGR gas introduced into an intake system of the internal combustion engine is reduced or supply of the EGR gas is stopped (S108). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
