PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous plug for gas-blowing in which molten metal is hardly inserted into a joint part with a mass block in a simple method. SOLUTION: The tip-end part of the outer peripheral iron-case 4 of the porous plug 3 for gas-blowing, is extended toward an upper direction above the upper-end part 3A of the porous plug and formed into a reed shape by making a plurality of cuts in the extended portion of the iron-case 4 so that the tip-end part is easily bent toward the outer-side direction of the porous plug 3.
