PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an influence of a single latch for locking an actuator upon latch performance, and to suppress vibration thereof. SOLUTION: An HDD includes a single latch 18 for stopping the actuator rotated by an inertia force of an external force. The latch stops the rotation of the actuator to a data area side by the inertia force of the external force, so as to lock the actuator. When the actuator is positioned on a magnetic disk, the latch is in an open position by means of a magnetic bias force to a magnetic substance pin 187. A yoke configuring a portion of a voice coil motor has a protrusion 62. A magnetic flux from the protrusion produces the magnetic bias force. A tip face 623 of the protrusion has an inclination.
