摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum nitride capable of attaining a high heat conductivity with a less loading amount, excellent in operability, and having a high aspect ratio, therefore, little in the effect to human body, a method of manufacturing it, and a high heat conductivity resin complex material. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the aluminum nitride is a method in which a raw material containing aluminum oxide is mixed with a carbon source and the mixture is heated in a nitrogen gas stream, and the aspect ratio (L/D) of the raw material is not smaller than 3 and that of the resultant aluminum nitride is not smaller than 3. This aluminum nitride retaining the shape and the aspect ratio is obtained by nitriding by reduction nitriding method of an aluminum oxide-containing material having a certain shape and aspect ratio.
