PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formulation for the treatment of asthma having desirable solubility, stability, low toxicity, accurate dosage, correct particle size and/or compatibility with a usual valve assembly of a dosage-metering inhaler and not containing CFC (chlorofluorocarbon), and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: An aerosolized formulation for the treatment of asthma (which contains mometasone furoate and formoterol fumarate) and the method for preparing the same are disclosed. The invention relates to a process for producing the nontoxic formulation that does not substantially contain CFC and possesses improved stability and compatibility with medicines and is relatively easily produced. The formulation is produced according to an ordinary procedure in the art for other aerosol compositions.
