<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-diameter converter capable of using an electric bulb having the same standard of a base in spite of any kinds of lighting fixtures. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The base-diameter converter has a female socket 1 where a base of an E17 electric bulb is engaged, a male base 2 set up to be the same with the base of an E26 electric bulb, a first internal wiring 4 connecting between the center electrode of the female socket 1 and the center electrode of the male base 2, and a second internal wiring 5 connecting between an outer peripheral electrode of the female socket 1 and an outer peripheral electrode of the male base 2.
