The clamp (1) has a clamp ring (4) with an opening, and a pipe inserted into an area of circumference of the opening of the ring. The ring exhibits two clamping flanges (5, 6) staying radially outward on both sides of the opening. The flanges are clamped by a clamping screw (13). The clamping screw exhibits a thread-free shaft section, which allows rotation of the clamping screw if the shaft section is provided in a threaded hole (11) of one of the flanges. The thread-free shaft section is covered over its entire length by a flexible element.
