A device (3) for generating an image of surroundings of a vehicle is connectable with a plurality of cameras mounted in the vehicle, and is provided with a parking frame specifying unit (33) for specifying a target parking frame for the vehicle, a captured image selecting unit (34) for selecting, from among the plurality of cameras, at least one camera suitable for capturing an image of the target parking frame on the basis of the specified target parking frame and selecting a captured image from the selected camera, and an additional image drawing unit (35) for generating an image for display, which represents the situation of the specified target parking frame, using the captured image from the selected camera.</p> |
