<p>Disclosed is an excellently safe plating catalyst liquid, which is at low risk of inflammation, while placing little burden on the environment. The plating catalyst liquid does not roughen the surface of an object to be plated, and makes control of the adhesion amount of a plating catalyst easy. Also disclosed is a plating method using the plating catalyst liquid. The plating catalyst liquid contains a palladium compound, water and a water-soluble combustible liquid serving as a combustible liquid component. The catalyst liquid has a flash point of not less than 40°C, and the content of the water-soluble combustible liquid in the catalyst liquid is 0.1-40% by mass.</p> |
