OPTICAL TRANSCEIVER OPTIMIZED TRANSMISSION CHARACTERISTIC OF AN OPTICAL INTERFEROMETER

PURPOSE: An optical transceiver having optimized transmission characteristic of an optical interferometer, and a method thereof are provided to improve the transmission performance by optimizing the transmission characteristic of an optical interferometer included in an optical receiver. CONSTITUTION: An optical transmitter(210) outputs a phase-locked optical signal to a network, and an optical receiver(220) receives the phase-locked optical signal from the network. The optical receiver includes an optical interferometer, and the optical interferometer converts the phase-locked optical signal into strength modulation signal. A controller(230) controls the transmission characteristic of the optical interferometer to be optimized.
